Matthias De Ligt has returned to training.
Germany’s T-online reported on Friday (May 5) that “Bayern Munich have two players back in training after the defeat to Stuttgart. This is good news for coach Thomas Tuchel. Tuchel will probably be able to plan the Champions League semifinal second leg against Real Madrid with De Ligt.”
Munich will face Real in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League (UCL) quarterfinals of the 2023-24 season at the Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid, Spain, at 4:00 a.m. on June 9. The teams played to a 2-2 draw in the first leg.
De Ligt didn’t play in the first leg. He was injured. De Ligt collapsed during the match against Frankfurt last month on the 27th.
