“I like him because he defends and fights well.”
The first round of the U12 division of the fifth edition of the 2024 Chungbuk Basketball i-League was held at the Naesu Sports Park in Cheongju, Chungcheongbuk-do, on Wednesday. A total of nine teams participated in the U12 division of the Chungbuk i-League.
The teams participating in the Chungbuk i-League were all composed of youth players learning basketball in hobby classes. 사설 토토사이트 Junior Promy also participated in the league with players from the 5th grade hobby class.
“When I was in the third grade, my dad showed me a basketball video, and I fell in love with it,” said Lim Soo-ho (Solsamcho 5). ‘It’s fun to play basketball, and I like going to cheer for Wonju DB,’ he said.
Although Lim doesn’t captain every tournament, this time, he joined his friends as the captain of the I-League. It was also his first time competing in the I-League, which is in its third year.
“I think when you go to a tournament as a captain, you feel more responsible, and it’s different than when you’re just a teammate,” he said. ”Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose, but if you lose, I usually tell my friends that it’s okay and that we can win next time.”
“I didn’t know about the iLeague at first, but I learned about the tournament when I participated this time. Unlike other tournaments, the iLeague is a league where you can play consistently, so it’s more fun because you can play a lot of games,” he added.
Although Lim is currently playing basketball in a hobby class, he still has a dream of becoming a basketball player in the back of his mind.
“I like DB player Kim Young-hyun, and I got to know him when he came to DB, and I liked him because he is a player who defends hard and has a lot of fighting spirit. I dream of becoming a basketball player, and I want to be a player who is necessary for the team like Kim Young-hyun,” he said.
