Professional baseball NC Dinos will hold a retirement ceremony for coach Park Seok-min (38), who contributed to the team’s first win since its founding, in a home game against the Samsung Lions held at Changwon NC Park on the 11th.

Seok-min Park, who graduated from Daegu High School and was selected in the first round of the 2004 KBO rookie draft, spent his prime as a leading player in the ‘Samsung Dynasty’.
Park Seok-min, with his accurate batting, slugging power, and on-base percentage, played a key role in helping Samsung win the overall championship for four consecutive years from 2011 to 2014.
Park Seok-min, who qualified as a free agent after the 2015 season, wore the NC uniform under the condition of a total of 9.6 billion won for 4 years.

As a member of NC Dinos, Park Seok-min set an example both on and off the field, donating 600 million won to local players and youth baseball foundations in NC, and donating 100 million won each to the bereaved families of Yangsan rope fall victims and Gangwon-do forest fire victims.
NC, which added meaning by preparing a retirement ceremony to coincide with Park Seok-min’s former team’s game against Samsung, plans to hold a festival to cheer on his second life.
First, an acrylic model of Park Seok-min will be presented to the first 1,000 people at entrance gates 1 and 3, and area 103 of Changwon NC Park will be designated as a Park Seok-min cheering zone and ticket buyers in that area will receive a Park Seok-min player towel.

Coach Park Seok-min will hold an autograph session before the game for 100 people who have pre-registered, and will have a photo session on the ground after the game.
