With Park’s two-run home run and Peddie’s heroics in the seventh inning, NC defeated Kiwoom and moved back up to fourth place.

The NC Dinos are back in fourth place thanks to two-hit performances from Eric Peddie and Gun-woo Park.

NC won a 2-1 home game against the Kiwoom Heroes of the 2023 KBO League at NC Park in Changwon on Friday, thanks to a two-run home run by Park Gun-woo.

With the win, NC moved into fourth place by half a game over the KIA Tigers, whose game was canceled due to rain.

Starting pitcher Pedi was solid on the mound.

Peddie struck out 11 batters and held the Kiwoom bats scoreless on two scattered hits until the seventh inning.

Peddie, who picked up his 17th win of the season (6-0), lowered his ERA to 2.28 and moved into sole possession of first place in both categories.

The score was tied at 0-0 when Peddie and Keum’s Ian McKinney started the game.

NC was unable to capitalize on Kiwoom McKinney, drawing two walks and no hits through the fifth inning.

However, in the bottom of the sixth, after Son As-seop drew a walk, Park Gun-woo stepped to the plate with the bases loaded and McKinney’s low changeup was lifted for a towering two-run home run.

Park’s single gave NC a 2-0 lead, and after Pedi closed out the seventh, Kim Young-kyu came on in the eighth and Lee Yong-chan in the top of the ninth to preserve the win.

Kiwoom scored a run in the top of the ninth as Song Sung-moon tripled 먹튀검증토토사이트 and Lim Byung-wook singled to left-center, but could not pull off the upset.
