Busan KCC’s Choi Jun-yong expressed his belief in his teammates.
KCC defeated Suwon KT 88-70 in Game 5 of the best-of-seven best-of-five series for the 2023-2024 Korean Basketball Association championship at the Suwon KT Arena on Friday.
Choi Jun-yong contributed 17 points, seven rebounds, and five assists in the victory.
Speaking to the media after the game, Choi said, “It feels good to win, but it’s not that good. I’ve done it before,” he said, making the audience laugh.
“We talked a lot about being a super team when I came, but we didn’t play as well as I expected. I was confident of winning the championship from the moment I came here. I came to the championship with a lot of hard work this season, but I have four years left on my contract, so I will try to win all four years.”
