Hwang Ui-jo, who returned to Nottingham Forest in the English Premier League, scored his first goal in his pre-season match debut.
Hwang Ui-jo scored in the first preseason game against Notts County in the fourth division at Meadow Lane, Nottingham, England, after pressing his opponent’s defender to take the ball away a minute after he was substituted in the second half.
Nottingham finished the game with a 1-0 victory, and Hwang Ui-jo’s goal was the winning goal.
Hwang Ui-jo, who previously played on a short-term loan at the K League FC Seoul in the first half of this year after going through the Greek League Olympiacos, returned to his original team, Nottingham, ahead of the 2023-2024 season.
