National representatives Kim Si-yoon (Jemulpo Broadcasting and Communications High School, 2nd year) and Kim Si-hyeon (Daejeon Women’s Broadcasting and Communications High School, 3rd year) won the men’s and women’s divisions of the 8th Bear Creek Amateur Golf Championship.
Kim Si-yoon won the tournament on the final day of the tournament held at the Bear Course (par 72) of Bear Creek Golf Club in Pocheon-si, Gyeonggi-do on the 19th by shooting a 3-under 69, for a combined score of 12-under 204 for the third round.
Kim Si-hyeon reduced her score by 7 strokes in the final round to take home the winner’s trophy with a final total of 15-under 201 strokes.
The tournament was originally scheduled to be held as a 4-round, 72-hole competition, but was shortened to 54 holes due to heavy rain.
Kim Si-yoon and Kim Si-hyeon are active as national representatives.
This tournament, hosted by the Korea Golf Association and organized by Bear Creek Golf Club, was won by Park Min-ji, Lim Hee-jung, and Lee Jae-kyung.
