Kylian Mbappe has returned to first-team training after an acrimonious standoff with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) over his contract.

The club announced on its website on Wednesday that Mbappe has returned to team training.

In a photo released by the club, Mbappe is seen running through drills with his teammates with a smile on his face.

“We had a constructive and positive conversation with Mbappe before the PSG-Lorient match. Mbappe returned to first-team training today.”

Mbappe, who is under contract until the summer of 2024, rejected PSG’s offer of a one-year contract extension.

Mbappe’s plan was to play one more season with PSG and then become a free agent, free to move on to a better deal elsewhere without a transfer fee.

Local speculation was that Mbappe would join Real Madrid (Spain), his “dream club”.

Faced with the prospect of letting Mbappe go without a transfer fee, PSG tried to lure him to Saudi Arabia’s Al-Hilal, but Mbappe ‘kicked down the door’ of Al-Hilal’s officials, who made an offer worth about 1 trillion won in Korean won.

PSG then took the seemingly crass step of removing Mbappe from first-team training and placing him in the training program of the players being released.

Mbappe was also left out of PSG’s 2023-2024 season opener at home against Lorient on December 12.

He watched the game from the stands, and was caught on camera chatting with his teammates in a very upbeat mood.

In the match, PSG drew 0-0 with Lorient.

Mbappe and PSG seem to be on the mend.

“After 12 hours of talks between all parties, a reunion between Mbappe and PSG is on the cards,” according to the BBC.

ESPN also reported that “Mbappe and PSG are reportedly in contract extension talks. PSG is confident Mbappe will stay.”

If Mbappe and PSG 카지노사이트킴 come to an agreement on a new contract, Korean fans’ hopes of seeing “Golden Boy” Lee Kang-in on the field with Mbappe will be realized.
